REALTORS® and Affiliates members, RACI is shaped by the people who choose to get involved. Your ideas, experience and perspective help guide the policies, programs, services and opportunities that move our Association forward.

If you have an idea to share, a perspective to bring or simply want to be more involved, we invite you to volunteer for a 2027 RACI committee or step up as a general volunteer where needed. Your participation helps shape the future of the Association and the value we bring to our members and communities.

A little flexibility, a lot of opportunity.

Most committees meet in a hybrid format, with at least one meeting strongly encouraged to be attended in person, typically the first or second meeting. After that, members can participate in person or virtually, making it easier to connect, collaborate and contribute in a way that works for you.

Please review the committee descriptions below and select the committees that interest you. Committee selections will be reviewed by RACI staff, and you will be notified of your committee placement before meetings are scheduled.

Community Outreach (Affiliate & REALTOR®)

Help RACI strengthen its connection to the communities we serve. This committee identifies opportunities for REALTOR® volunteerism, community partnerships and service projects that make a meaningful local impact.

Program (Affiliate & REALTOR®) 

Help shape RACI’s educational and member engagement opportunities. The committee develops programs, events and activities that provide value, encourage participation and support the professional growth of RACI members.

Social Activities (Affiliate & REALTOR®) 

Help create opportunities for members to connect beyond the business of real estate. This committee plans social events and experiences that build relationships, encourage engagement and bring members together.

Economic Development (REALTOR®) 

Help RACI stay connected to the issues, policies and economic trends affecting real estate and our communities. The committee supports advocacy efforts, monitors issues of importance to REALTORS® and helps members understand and engage in the political and economic landscape.

[R]esource (REALTOR®) 

Help members get more from their RACI tools, technology and resources. This committee explores ways to improve member access, awareness and use of technology and resources that support REALTORS® in their businesses and strengthen the Association.

RPAC Fundraising (REALTOR®) 

Help educate members about the importance of REALTOR® advocacy and support fundraising efforts for RPAC. The committee develops creative opportunities to engage members, raise RPAC contributions and strengthen participation in protecting the real estate profession.

Nominating Committee (REALTOR® 2027 Chair or Vice Chair) 

Help identify and recommend qualified REALTOR® members for future RACI leadership. The committee considers candidates for elected leadership positions and helps ensure the Association has engaged, capable members ready to serve.

RPAC Trustees (REALTOR® requires application for appointment) 

Help oversee the responsible stewardship of RACI’s RPAC funds and support the Association’s advocacy efforts. Trustees participate in decisions regarding RPAC contributions and help ensure funds are managed in accordance with applicable requirements and RACI’s established policies.

Note: RACI Vice President appoints Vice Chairs with the expectation that the Vice Chair will advance to Committee Chair the following year.

The RACI Board of Directors will appoint REALTOR® members to serve on the Nominating Committee and as RPAC Trustees at its January 2027 meeting.

Volunteers may be selected from the 2027 Board of Directors, 2027 Committee Chairs or Vice Chairs, or from REALTOR® members who express interest.
